  I visited Sam Wanna for my birthday to treat myself to a facial. I went with the Organic Hungarian Facial. I arrive for my 9:45 appt, at 9:45 on the dot. I was asked to fill out a questionnaire, made a quick bathroom visit, met with the esthetician, we walked through the questionnaire, then I changed into the towel for the procedure. I feel like all of this took at least 20 or so minutes, a the least. Yet somehow, my facial was at exactly 10:45… not a second over.
  
  I guess if I would have known my 60min started from the moment I walked in the door, I might have forgone that bathroom visit. For this “60 minute” facial, the cost was $90. At over a $1 a minute, that’s precious time. I think I was lucky if the esthetician even worked on me for 40min.
  
  In additional the facial itself was not great. The esthetician seemed more interested in swilling her coffee every few seconds, than doing the facial. The products she used smelled awful. There was no facial massage. And the primary reason I went was to combat some dry patches on my face, due to a recent vacation, and I left with rougher, drier skin than when I arrived.
  
  Funny that I choose this place on a whim, without any recommendation. A girl friend actually mentioned that she wasn’t impressed for her pre-wedding procedure. I should have listened. I feel very ripped off.
